The Rosie team is dedicated to providing the best care for our Rosie members. We thought you might like to know a little bit about some of the people behind the Rosie 24/7 monitored personal alarm service. Meet Minoo who heads up our operational team.
With a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering amongst her many achievements, Minoo has led the development of the Rosie service from its inception. Her passion, focus and attention to detail have gone into creating this vital safety net for thousands of Australian families.
Minoo, what is your role?
I’m the Operations Manager for Vitalcare Rosie Services.
How long have you worked with Rosie?
I’ve been working with Rosie since February of 2019.
What did you want to be when you were small?
As a child, I always dreamed of becoming a teacher and used every opportunity to play this role with my little friends. Later on, I had the opportunity to teach at the University of Technology, Sydney for a couple of years and make that childhood dream a reality!
What do you enjoy most about your job?
My list is very long, and it’s hard to choose one thing amongst all the things I love about this job; but I guess the opportunity to solve problems, and make a little contribution to improving the quality of life for our Rosie clients is something I look forward to when I start work each day.
I should also say, working with amazing, talented, dedicated and fun people makes this job very special to me.
What does Rosie mean to you?
Rosie’s purpose is to make this world a better place to live for so many people! Rosie saves lives, Rosie improves the way our parents and grandparents live, Rosie is a caring family for the lonely, Rosie is enabling those living with a disability – Rosie means much more than just a job to me.
Being part of something much bigger than myself and being able to play a role to accomplish this mission has been very rewarding. I am so proud to be part of this family!
What really makes you laugh?
Hanging out with my 6 year-old is always full of laughter :)
What’s your favourite way to spend a day off?
Some relaxing time while painting and listening to good music is nice.
