Enabling seniors and people with a disability to enjoy their independence
Everyone deserves the confidence to be active and enjoy their day without worrying about getting help in an emergency. It’s good to be active and engaged and know you’re safe or your loved one is protected at home and away.
Vitalcare is proud to have designed the new Rosie 4G Watch, a monitored medical alert wristwatch that provides reliable 24/7 fast emergency response by trained professionals in Australia.
Logan Ross, Managing Director of Vitalcare, says, “Our engineers are always innovating our products to make sure we’re delivering the best solutions to our clients, so we can help them to live a better quality life at home.”
“For a while now, we’ve been hearing that some people simply prefer a wristwatch personal alarm device, rather than a pendant. Whether it’s a matter of convenience, personal comfort or aesthetic appeal, we knew we had to deliver the Rosie Watch”, added Ross.
Rosie is a discrete wristwatch with automatic fall detection and GPS technology that works at home and away. It’s connected to the Rosie 24/7 Personal Emergency Response Service team, who support you in doing the things you love. Whether you keep active by walking, gardening at home or playing with your grandchildren, you can have the safety and peace of mind of knowing the Rosie 24/7 monitoring team are always available to help whenever you need it.
There are 2 ways to signal for help:
- Press the button on the right-hand side of the watch
- Built-in hard fall detection technology will automatically signal for help
Vitalcare has been keeping people safe in both homes and in care facilities for over 30 years. We are a trusted Australian owned and operated company; and are committed to providing excellent customer care, service and professionalism.
All in one device, the Rosie watch features:
- Guaranteed 24/7 fast emergency response from the Rosie monitoring team
- Hard fall detection with automatic alerts
- It is waterproof so that you can wear it in the shower or bath
- SOS alarm activation with a press of the watch face
- Two-way voice communication via the watch
- Built-in GPS technology, so we can get help to you quickly
- It has a long battery life and recharges quickly
- It uses the Telstra 4G Network, so no need to connect a mobile or landline
- And it tells the time.
Our new Rosie watch is ideal for anyone who wants to get out and about and maintain an active and independent lifestyle while living in their own home. Connected to the monitored, Rosie 24/7 Personal Emergency Response Service, the watch improves the quality of life for all of our clients and bring families peace of mind,” added Ross.

*It’s important to note that not all falls will activate the Rosie watch. In the event of a significant impact or hard fall, an automatic alert will be triggered and sent to the Rosie 24/7 monitoring team. It may not be activated automatically if someone slides out of a chair and rolls to the floor. The watch can still be activated by manually pressing the help button.
